Mary Collett
Mary has worked as an artist in Bristol for many years and has exhibited in a number of shows at the RWA as well as being a regular on the North Bristol Arts Trail.
Many of her linocuts feature animals both wild and domestic, but her work also covers themes (such as sloth and avarice), and references to literature or folklore.
Recent pieces have combined both colour and texture with more traditional black-and-white linocut techniques, layering various types of printed matter such as maps, sheet music and bank notes to create unique images.
