Abigail McDougall

Abigail McDougall was born in Oxford and grew up in Canada, Italy and Dorset. She graduated from Falmouth College of Art in 2005 and has since been based in Bristol, working from the renowned Jamaica Street Studios. She has recently moved abroad and is spending time in Belgium, Italy and Greece.
She is well known here for her distinctive watercolours, often featuring the Bristol harbourside, where she captures the light reflecting on the water, and others featuring views of Clifton and Hotwells in different lights.

She has quickly gained recognition as one of the city’s most promising young artists, with solo shows at the RWA and appearances at the Affordable Art Fair in London, Bristol and Brussels.
