Born in Bristol, Christine trained at both Kingston-upon-Thames and Central Schools of Art before going on to work as an illustrator in London and Australia. She returned to Bristol in 2001 where she turned to printmaking, learning wood engraving, lino-cutting and wood-cutting at Spike Print Studio. Many of her prints combine both lino and wood-cut methods.
