Merlyn Chesterman

Merlyn is a painter and printmaker working in North Devon. She spent many years living in the Far East, where she first became interested in woodcuts. She has gained considerable recognition in the field,and regularly exhibits in London.She has co-authored a definitive guide to the art, and her collaborative work with the Pine Feroda group has often been selected for the Royal Academy Summer exhibition. Images of life in China can often be found in her work, alongside the sea and landscape of the North Devon Coast.
